Solar energy is well suited for domestic uses like showers, sinks and clothes washers. The ergion solar domestic hot water (SDHW) technology is based on high quality evacuated tube collectors with a high efficiency even at sites with moderate climate.
The collectors have an absorber located inside the tube. The vacuum shields the absorber from ambient temperatures, and thereby increases the performance of the collector. Water (together with an antifreeze substance) flows through the insulated absorber. Thereby, the collector produces warm water for domestic uses and heating.
